    Comprehensive risk counseling services, HIV testing, integrated referral, group support programs, & harm/risk reduction supplies and education materials.

    The Arc

    Non-profit organization that serves adults and children with developmental disabilities and their families by providing a variety of services, programs, and activities that include: resource referral, low-cost guardianship assistance, home based support service facilitation, money management, skills training, social activities, outreach and education, and advocacy.

    The Autism Program – Rockford Service Center

    The Family Community Resource room is open to all who wish to gain more information and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    They offer a comprehensive library, with materials that are research based, DVDs, games and toys, social skills groups, training opportunities and various other clinical services.

    The Golf Club at Timber Pointe

    The course is 18 holes, has a clubhouse, a patio overlooking the golf course, a restaurant/bar, practice center, golf shop, and PGA instruction is available. Membership is also available, but the public is welcome as well.

    Non-profit and advocacy organization that serves people with disabilities and helps them become more independent. Services include: information and referral, independent living skills training, peer counseling, and advocacy. They also provide programs such as: personal assistant, community reintegration, youth and deaf services, and a volunteer program. Also includes a resource library, equipment closet, and community services.

    The Northwestern Illinois Association

    A regional special educational cooperative that serves children with special needs from birth to age 21. Has a wide variety of comprehensive services for children with special needs. Usually the school disctricts provide teachers, classrooms, and materials and equipment.

    TransVac

    Local transportation for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and general public.

    TransVision

    Provdies after school instruction, summer transition programs, parent/student seminars and assistive technology.

    Tri-County Lekotek

    Services are primarily provided in the homes of families. Program provides adapted toys along with adaptive equipment, computers, and software, assistive technology and resource and referral services.

    Tri-County Opportunities Council

    Provides education, support, and motivation for participation in organizations that help low-income individuals. Also offers foster grandparent, head start, and homemakers programs, and assistance with paying for energy services, weatherization and housing, and job opportunities.

    Truancy Intervention Center

    Collaboration between Rockford School District 205 and YSN. Referrals of truant students by court, parents, school personnel, and police. Counseling, case management, and tutoring.
