    KSB Hospice

    Provides the elderly population with home health care, assisted living, personal care, nursing and personal care, residential rehabilitation, rest homes, senior citizens centers, intermediate care, and convalescent homes.

    La Voz Latina Hispanic Resource Development Center

    Bilingual services including: adult education, job placement, counseling information and referrral, interpretation and translation, youth tutoring and citizenship.

    Lee County Council on Aging

    Provides seniors in Lee County with opportunities for enriching their lives. They perform health screenings, and vision assistance and screening, and offer a bus that is usable for people who have disabilities that takes them to various places they may need to go in the community. Assistance is available for seniors who are caregivers, and there are many social events are available.

    Lincolns Challenge

    Free military modeled residential training program for ages 16- 18. 17 month program. Earn GED and receive a graduation stipend to pursue continuing education. Contact Autumn Byrd at 708-343-8104 for more information.

    Literacy Council

    Reading, writing, life skills, & math instruction.

    Living World Food Pantry and Outreach

    Food pantry, food distribution every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of month or Fridays by appointment.

    Logan Counseling

    Full range of counseling services for individuals, couples, or families including domestic violence and anger management.

    Lutheran Social Services

    Counseling. Medical card accepted.

    Lydia Counseling Center

    Counseling from a Christian perspective. Individual and family. Insurance, private pay, and sliding scale available.

    Malcom Eaton Enterprises

    Serves people who have disabilities and offers community employment programs, residential services, developmental training, production/regular work program/work training services, respite/specialized services, after school programs, and a low-cost guardianship program.

    Employment agency that recruits employees for business looking to hire.

    March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation

    Provides grants to area agencies that have programs to improve prenatal health and prevent birth defects.

    Marianne Geiger MD Clinic

    Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling available.

    Meals on Wheels

    This program provides nutritious meals to senior citizens in the community, and the meals are delivered to their homes. They also deliver to people who are homebound, disabled, frail, or at risk.

    GED tutoring/ career planning for young parents.
